9/17/12 - East Side SC Class
My alarm went off this morning and I hit snooze like 3 times.  I was wiped out.  I’m exhausted from work, and to make it worse I dreamed about coding last night so my brain woke me up at 5am trying to convince me that I should go bang out this code now.  I was not moving out of my bed, so I willed myself back to sleep.  That battle took a long time.
Anyway I did eventually drag my butt to the gym, and stretched.  We spent this morning stretching rolling our abductors and IT bands.  Then we got to squatting.
I once again started out with my wussy 7.5 kilo bar to warm up, and got to 15kilos before Michael came over and started dictating weights to me.
Squat
5 x 7.5 kilos
5 x 11 kilos
5 x 13 kilos
5 x 15 kilos
5 x 20 kilos
5 x 25 kilos
5 x 28 kilos
5 x 32 kilos
He worked with me to get my form much better.  To get my knees out really wide and to drive up from the bottom with my butt.  It was rad to move a weight I was scared of without pain.  It was rad to be squatting a respectable amount again!
Then we did what I like to call walking planks.  You put your feet on a tiny dolly and go into a plank, then walk yourself back and forth across the gym.  They were tough.
